For ParentsAt Sheena's Place we have emphasized our commitment to parents by providing unique support services for them. In many cases children, including adult children are unwilling to discuss or address the problems they may be experiencing around food and body image. This can be an upsetting, frustrating and exhausting time for parents and other family members. It is our belief that some of the best prevention and intervention work can be done through parents by providing them with hope, support and perhaps some tools acquired through the shared experiences of other parents. And, in the meantime, parents need to know that they, like their children, are not alone with the problem.
