"It's tempting to wish for the perfect boss, the perfect parent or the perfect outfit. But maybe the best any of us can do is not quit, play the hand we've been dealt and accessorize what we've got." Words to live by from Carrie Bradshaw.

We're touched by the emotions expressed in the pieces we receive, and by how grateful people are to have a place to tell their story. Playing the hand they've been dealt and accessorizing, so to speak.

Sometimes a phrase captures exactly what we're thinking before we even realize it ourselves or can put it into words. Some good material comes our way here at Sheena's, we'll show ours if you'll show us yours. Send us what you've liked well enough to put up on your bathroom mirror.

Another quote to finish, this one from Anais Nin, "And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."

Enjoy what we've assembled in issue 11... see you in the Fall with #12.
