ISSUE 12
Summer is winding down as we prepare Fall Flushed... a dozen
issues under our belts now. The harvest of material you’ll find
in #12 is rich, varied and full bodied, so let’s get to it.
Fiction: A unique look at the notion that size matters.
Literary
non- fiction: Lots of helpful advice for mothers and
mothers-to-be, Internet users and everybody else too.
Poetry: As always, the poets show us life through a lyrical
lens.
Reviews: Books, books and more books; a gaggle of opinions to
spice up your thoughts and your conversation. And, remember we’re
always interested in what you’re reading; check the guidelines at the end of this space and take a shot at sharing your favourite
book with other readers. Fiction and non fiction are both welcome
and lots of our reviewers are “first-timers”.
Links: Websites and other resources are covered here. The net
is ever expanding, and we check out links before posting them,
but let us know if we’ve missed something.
Gallery: One
of our own young Toronto artists shares this space with an octogenarian
Czech sculptor.
And, Sheena’s Place Art Show opens September 14 and continues
until November 16. We hope to showcase some of the work in future
issues.
That’s the Fall issue and we’re collecting material
to warm your hearts and souls in Winter. Send us your stuff and
we’ll be back when the snow is flying.
