The Cause
Fireball’s goal is to raise much needed funds for Sheena's Place; a non-profit organization providing support for people affected by eating disorders. Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness. Over 15% of people with anorexia will die from complications related to their disorder. With only 20 publicly funded beds and limited private inpatient beds, wait times can range from 6 months to over a year.
The Success
Since its inception in 1999, Fireball has raised close to $755,000 net for programs at Sheena's Place.
The People
The success of Fireball relies on the diversity of its dedicated urban professional crowd. From the GenYer to the Baby Boomer, everyone has a great time while supporting a worthy cause.
The Party
Fireball brings together over 500 of the city’s movers and shakers to the Capitol Event Theatre for a steamy night on the town. Guests are invited to sip on cocktails from the martini bar, indulge in oysters on the half shell, enjoy delicacies at the food stations, bid on sizzling silent auction items and test lady luck at the raffle. The dance floor moves and grooves all night long and is awash with red-clad guests keeping rhythm with the DJ. Guaranteed to be the hottest ticket in town!
